Inside Tips to Create Your Own Internet Business Income
The first step I take whenever I begin a new online business is to plan out my course of action. You’ll want to do this as well in order to ensure your internet business income plan will succeed. By taking the time to answer these questions now and preparing the direction you want to head in you’ll avoid lots of headaches down the road.
Here are the questions I use whenever I take on a new project. Write them down so you can create you own business plan!
* Choose what business model you want to focus on. Are you interested in selling your own products that you have on hand, someone else’s products as an affiliate who earns commissions on sales, selling goods on eBay, drop shipping, writing and distributing your own ebook, re-selling ebooks or software, using Google Adsense on an informational site, offer your services instead of a product, etc.
* What is your approximate budget you need to set up the site you are choosing as your business model? You can easily create a model that is under $30.00 to set up but others may cost more. Can you devote enough time to creating and marketing your site?
* How much money do you want to invest in advertising and marketing? You can reasonably expect to pay $100.00 per month or more for time saving tools. You’ll want to know what your monthly budget can be because the more you outsource the more time you have to build more businesses.
* Writing your own content for your main site or blog posts can be very time consuming if you do it yourself. Are you good at writing? I suggest doing the writing yourself in the beginning so you understand how it is done.
* Accepting credit cards on your site is a must if you are selling your own products. If you are selling on eBay you will need a PayPal account and process your transactions through them. They are fantastic and easy to use so sign up for a PayPal account. Even if you are selling your own products not on eBay, I still like PayPal but check out some of the others too like Google Checkout, 2Checkout, Authorize.net etc.
* Do some digging and find out what your competition is. How much are you going to charge for your services or products? Are you offering anything special that beats out your competition? You will want to have a unique selling proposition that sets you apart from all the other guys! Decide what your USP is and market that.
* Did you know that the majority of clients that have purchased your product and had a good experience will buy from you again and again! It’s true and proven. So have a follow up product that is related or somewhat similar to your original product ready to promote to them after a determined amount of time.
* What kind of residual income can you build in addition to your product sites that could be run automatically with you not there. Think of selling an ebook. You create a site, add your content and sell the ebook all online. You use PayPal to process your payments and the ebook is automatically downloaded for your customer. You do nothing. If you create many of these types of auto pilot sites you can earn income and have time for other projects!
* You probably won’t have any testimonials for your site yet so here is a fantastic tip to get an endorsement. You can ask a celebrity on your field or keynote speaker to give you an interview. You record the interview either on video (this is the best way) or audio. You can then take the video and add it to your site and promote it on YouTube!
